What Is Inpatient Rehab?

Inpatient rehab is a residential level of care where clients live onsite and receive daily therapeutic support. It is ideal for individuals who need separation from triggers, struggle with relapse, require emotional stabilization, or are managing co-occurring mental health conditions.

  • 24/7 therapeutic support
  • Structured daily programming
  • Safe, supervised environment
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Dual-diagnosis treatment

Medical Detox Before Inpatient Care

Clients entering inpatient rehab may begin with medical detox if withdrawal symptoms are present. Detox includes 24/7 monitoring, vital-sign stabilization, symptom management, hydration support, and preparation for residential treatment.

Daily Therapeutic Programming in Inpatient Rehab

Inpatient treatment includes individual therapy, daily group therapy, relapse-prevention training, emotional regulation work, trauma-informed modalities, and life-skills development.

Therapies may include CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR (when clinically appropriate), relapse-prevention therapy, and family systems therapy.

Step-Down Care: PHP & IOP

After inpatient rehab, clients transition into Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs to reinforce coping skills, relapse prevention, and independence while maintaining structured clinical support.

Outpatient Rehab, Sober Living & Aftercare

Outpatient treatment and sober living options provide continued accountability, peer support, and stability. Long-term aftercare planning strengthens recovery and reduces relapse risk.
